Chattooga County BOE member Lynn Hall has announced that he will be running for a full term on the Chattooga Board of Education.
Hall is a longtime educator in Chattooga County, having served as many years as principal of Menlo Elementary School. Also, before retiring from education, Mr. Hall served as the Chattooga County Young Farmer advisor for the county school system.
Hall is also a farmer and currently serves as president of the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair Council.
Hall was appointed to the seat representing Menlo after the death of elected board member Sammy Ballard. Hall has served on the board since 2020 and is currently filling out the remainder of Mr. Ballard’s term.
Mr. Hall told WZQZ News that he plans to qualify in the Democratic Primary next week for a full term on the Chattooga Board of Education.
