The Summerville City Council will be meeting this evening at 5 PM at Summerville City Hall.  The council will be discussing several items including a bridge widening project on Highway 48 that will require the city move utilities.  Also, the council is being asked to approve a permit for a downtown, outside beauty pageant that will be held in May.  A local restaurant is asking for permission to put up a new sign in the historic district.  Also, the council will have the first reading of the fiscal mid-year budget and council members will consider a proposal to reduce retirement for city employees from thirty-years to twenty-five years of service.  You can see the complete agenda below and see instructions on how to attend tonight’s council meeting remotely:

Regular Council Meeting

Regular Council meetings, are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of the month. The Regular Council Meeting will be on March 14th, at 5PM, at City Hall. The meeting will also be available to attend as a virtual meeting that can be joined by telephone or by computer/smart phone.
