The Georgia DOT has ordered the closure of a bridge on Saddle Club Road in Chattooga County.  Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry said on Monday that the bridge would be closed effective immediately.

The bridge is located on the north end of Saddle Club Road and crosses over Greenwood Branch, 2.7 miles southwest of Trion.   The bridge was originally built in 1954 and stretches almost 25 feet over Greenwood Branch.
