Summerville Police responded to a call at the Dry Valley Road Apartments last week after a complainant said that his neighbor had been “messing with” his security cameras.
When an officer arrived on the scene, the complainant showed the officer video of a neighbor voicing her disapproval of the complainant’s security cameras outside his residence. The woman could be heard saying, “I don’t like that thing pointing at my house.” In a separate video, the officer observed someone “messing with the camera”.
The officer spoke with the neighbor and explained that the complainant’s camera was pointed towards his vehicle and would shut off before the woman reached her front porch. The officer advised the neighbor to quit messing with the complainant’s camera.
