Due to the gusty winds and fairly low relative humidity, elevated fire danger conditions are expected area-wide on Wednesday. Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late Wednesday into Thursday. The primary threats are strong to damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and heavy rain.

A wind advisory remains in effect from 11 AM this morning to 8 AM on Thursday morning.  We can expect south winds from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.  Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.  Motorists should use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
