The next meeting of the Historical Society will be tomorrow at 2 PM at the historic Summerville Depot in downtown Summerville.

A program about historic preservation will be presented by Dr. Adam Ware of the Bandy Heritage Center at Dalton State. They have a Smithsonian quality preservation facility. Many items from the Historical Society collection will be on display and you are encouraged to bring anything you think of historical Chattooga County interest to share and let the historical society photograph.

The Historical Society is open for donations of items to document our county’s history.

The Chattooga County Historical Society meetings are free and open to the public.
