The Summerville City Council will meet this evening for their regular monthly meeting for April.  The meeting gets underway at 5 PM and will be preceded by a question and answer period with the mayor and council that is open to the public.  The council has a lengthy agenda for tonight’s meeting and will be discussing a variety of topics including the relocation of utilities on the Highway 48 bridge that spans Raccoon Creek.  The Georgia Department of Transportation is planning to replace the bridge later this year and the city must move utilities, including a high pressure gas line, on the bridge before construction can take place.  Tonight’s meeting can be attended virtually online or by telephone.  You can find the complete agenda and instruction on how to attend the meeting virtually below:

Pre Meeting Question  & Answer

Regular Council Meeting

Regular Council meetings, are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of the month. The Regular Council Meeting will be on April 11th, at 5PM, at City Hall. The meeting will also be available to attend as a virtual meeting that can be joined by telephone or by computer/smart phone.
