Dr. Gary Voccio, health director for the ten-county Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest Health District, is reminding residents of the area that everyone age five years and older are eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccine and anyone twelve or older is eligible for a free COVID-19 booster.

Dr. Voccio says people over the age of fifty or with suppressed immune systems are eligible for a second booster.
