With the May Primary Elections just a little over a month away, the Chattooga County Registrar Office and County Election Superintendent Judge Gary Woods tested the county’s voting machines on Tuesday.
The testing took place in the back room of the Registrar Office and was open to the public.
The last day to qualify to vote in the May 24th Primary is Monday, April 25th.
Voters will be going to the polls in May and will be required to choose between a Democratic or a Republican ballot. There will also be a nonpartisan race on both ballots.
