If the commissioner’s plan was to get Chattooga County talking about EMS service – the meeting Tuesday night has accomplished its goal.  AM 1180  has talked with numerous people for and against the idea of privatizing the ambulance service in the county. 

Commissioner Winters told AM 1180 on Wednesday "This was a great learning lesson and I still feel that this is the best scenario for us to add better service and equipment with the least impact on the total system and it can save us a lot of money. "
