A fight between a teenager and his girlfriend on Crowe Street in Summerville ended with police using a taser on the teen.

The incident last Saturday was reported by a woman who said that her nephew and his girlfriend were fighting and that both had struck each other during the fight.

When police arrived on the scene, the two subjects were in a shed located on the property.  When police knocked on the door of the shed, the teen yelled out obscenities at the police.  When police opened the door to the shed the teenager continued to use profane language.  An officer grabbed the teen and a scuffle ensued.  As the subject continued to disobey lawful commands, police used a taser but the teen was still able to get up and get away from police.

The subject then sat down in the middle of the road and taunted police.  A short time later, while police were talking with the female, the teenager walked back up to the scene and surrendered himself to police.

Seventeen-year-old Antonio McWhorter was arrested and booked into the Chattooga County Jail on disorderly conduct and obstruction of law enforcement charges.
