This week, Chattooga County Deputies responded to a call to Harell Street in reference to stolen items.  When the deputies arrived on the scene, they spoke with Kila Cameron who stated that her husband, Jeffery went to his friend’s house with her blue bank bag that had coins inside. 

While at her friends house, the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force took her husband into custody and the bag was left at the residence.

The complainant identified a suspect who entered the residence and took the bag of coins.  She said that she was sure he was the one that took the coins because he tried to sell the bag of coins to one of her friends.  The friend refused to purchase the coins and notified the complainant.

The incident was turned over to an investigator.
