Summerville Police were called to a Kirby Street residence this week after a man said that a mowing company damaged his 2005 Mercedes.

Police say that the car was parked in the complainant’s carport, and the back window had been shattered by an unknown object.  The complainant had talked with his neighbor about the mowing company and was able to provide police with the name of the owner of the company.

The owner of the mowing company, Randy Spears from Menlo, arrived on the scene and looked at the damage to the car.  Spears told police that he was not sure if his mowing crew had caused the damage.

The owner of the vehicle requested a report on file concerning the incident.
