A thirty-two-year-old Trion man was arrested at a gas station this past week after he refused to leave the store.
Deputies responded to the gas station on Highway 27 in Trion, commonly referred to as the “Shell in the hole”. The manager on duty at the store told law enforcement officers that the man had come into the store looking for a necklace he thought he had lost inside the store a week before. The store manager said that she had found the necklace and told the man that she would get it to him, but the man became irate and started cussing the employee and tried to start a fight with a customer.
Jeremy Nixon was placed under arrest for public drunkenness, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct and was transported to the Chattooga County Jail.
