An intoxicated LaFayette resident is accused of making terroristic threats against female neighbors down the street, on Saturday night.

LaFayette Police answered the disturbance call on King Street and the women told them that thirty-one-year-old Jeffrey Donald Wingfield had been shouting from their front yard, threatening to quote “kill everyone on the porch”. An unknown male heard the threats and told Wingfield to move on, which he did.

Officers found him at his address minutes later. The report states he smelled of alcohol, was unsteady on his feet and cursed officers loudly. A computer check also showed that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Wingfield was charged with terroristic threats, criminal trespass, simple assault and public drunkenness.
