LaFayette Police arrested a twenty-one-year-old man this week after he tried to pass a fake $100 off at McDonald’s.
WQCH in Lafayette reported: An employee refused to accept the bill, the man paid with a debit card and left on a bicycle.
Minutes later, Tony N. Parton was picked up and told police he had found the bill on the sidewalk. It was marked “copy” and “for motion picture purposes”.
Parton was charged with felony theft by deception.
