Summerville Police were called to a Union Street residence this week after a woman said that there was an unusually large amount of dog feces in her yard.

When a responding officer arrived on the scene and talked to the complainant, she had gathered seven grocery bags of dog feces from her yard and showed it to the officer.  The woman told the officer that she believed that someone was intentionally allowing dogs onto her property to do their business.   Later in the day, the woman called an officer back to view some more dog feces in her yard.

The complainant asked to meet with an investigator and to review video surveillance from Mason Funeral Home which is near her property.
