Chattooga County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a prowler around 1:30 AM on Monday after he was found trespassing.

A Highway 27 Summerville complainant told the deputies that he found Richard Eugene Milstead on his property and detained him until deputies arrived.  The complainant said that he had told Milstead before to stay off his property.

While searching Milstead’s bag, the deputy found a black box with suspected methamphetamine residue inside.

Milstead was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and possession of methamphetamine and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
