The Georgia State Patrol says an Alabama man lost his life in Georgia on Saturday morning as the result of a motorcycle accident.

The accident happened on I-59 in Dade County at 5:40 AM on June 18th.  State Troopers responded to the scene at mile marker two and say that the driver left the roadway and struck a guardrail.  The driver was identified as fifty-six-year-old Khan Ashraf of Birmingham, Alabama, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

The accident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol Post 41 in LaFayette.
