An accident on Sunday evening sent a forty-six-year-old woman to the hospital in Chattanooga via Lifeforce and injured her twenty-two-year-old passenger.

The Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome told WZQZ News that Georgia Denise Rogers was travelling on Marble Springs Road at a high rate of speed when she failed to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle left the roadway and turned over.  Rogers was airlifted to the hospital and her passenger, Corey Lorraine Rogers was sent to Floyd Medical Center in Rome by Redmond EMS.

Neither woman’s injuries were considered to be life-threatening, according to the state patrol.
