An Armuchee man was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week on drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop.
Rome Police pulled over twenty-eight-year-old Christopher Jones Avery and found that he was driving on a suspended license. When officers searched Avery’s vehicle, they found methamphetamine.
Avery is charged with felony meth trafficking, meth possession, possession of meth with intent to distribute and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license.
He was held without bond Monday.
