A fifty-year-old homeless woman was arrested this week on outstanding warrants after a domestic incident on Mable Wood Drive.

Deputies were called to the scene after the woman was accused of damaging blinds in the living room of the residence.  The complainant said that he was allowing the woman to stay with him but came home and found the suspect “shooting dope” in the bathroom.  When the complainant confronted the woman about the incident, she became angry and damaged the blinds.  She then gathered her belongings and left the residence.

When the responding deputy caught up with the woman, she denied having done drugs and said she didn’t damage the blinds.

When running the woman’s information, the deputy found that she had an active warrant for her arrest.  Tori Elise Ore (Wilkerson)* was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail.

* The suspect’s name was listed as “Ore” in the incident report and as “Wilkerson” on the arrest report
