Last Friday, a Rocky Hollow Road man called the Chattooga County sheriff’s office after he noticed damage to a vehicle.

When the deputy arrived on the scene, he spoke with the complainant who said that he was a truck driver and was often gone from home for periods of time.  When he got back on July 1st, he noticed that a 2004 Nissan 350Z that he had stored under a tarp, had white spots on the hood, headlights, rear windshield and the rear and trunk areas.  The complainant told the deputy that the damage was done sometime between June 28th and July 1st.

The complainant also advised the deputy that he had recently been involved in a domestic incident with his wife who lives just down the road.

The complainant did have cameras on the property, but none pointed in the direction of the stored automobile.  The deputy advised the complainant to point a camera towards the vehicle in case the perpetrator came back on the property.

The incident was turned over to an investigator.
