LaFayette Police arrested an intoxicated woman on Sunday afternoon after receiving complaints about the woman’s behavior.

WQCH in LaFayette reported that the seventy-four-year-old woman was reportedly knocking on the door of a Cavender Street residence, asking for her boyfriend who did not live there. Officers found her sitting inside a vehicle next door. The owner told them she did not have permission to be in the vehicle.

A previous nuisance report had been received in the area about an hour before.

Carolyn Jean Goins had slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet. She was transported to jail on a pedestrian under the influence charge.
