A Northwest Georgia man was added to a law enforcement agency’s “most wanted list” this week after allegedly causing injury to a small dog and allowing a child to witness the incident.

Polk County Police say that thirty-five-year-old Andrew P. Compton has warrants stemming from an incident where he allegedly choked a small brown dog, and then allegedly threw the dog at a German Shepherd (that was aggressive to other dogs). The German Shepherd proceeded to attack and maul the small dog until it was badly injured while a small child looked on.

Anyone with information about Compton’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Polk County E-911 at (770) 748-3400.
