A woman was parked in the parking lot of the Shorter Avenue IGA on Sunday Jan. 2 when she says another woman she barely knew exited the store and began calling her names, reports stated.

According to Rome police records:

The victim told officers that a woman she knew in passing, whose name she couldn’t remember, began cursing at her. When the victim exited her vehicle to confront the woman, the woman drew a gun on the victim and threatened her.

The woman then jumped in her car and drove away. The victim took down the license plate number of the offender. No arrests have been made in the incident.
