
Over the last two years, Chattooga County Schools (CCS) has been able to provide free meals to students due to the USDA waivers associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. These waivers have allowed Chattooga County Schools to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students, as well as provide free meals to anyone age 18 or younger when schools were closed.On June 30, 2022, these waivers expired. This means the Chattooga County School District will resume its’ normal meal program which was in place prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Meal prices will be determined by eligibility. Each family is encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application to determine eligibility for the upcoming school year. The meal applications
will be sent home with students on the first day of school. They will also be made available at each school during Meet the Teacher events, or families may choose to complete the online application which can be found at www.lunchapplication.com.
Families should plan on the following meal prices for the 2022-2023 school year:
Reduced Breakfast Meal Price: $0.30
Reduced Lunch Meal Price: $0.40
Full Price Breakfast Meal Price (Elementary Students): $0.95
Full Price Lunch Meal Price (Elementary Students): $1.85
Full Price Breakfast Meal Price (Middle/High Students): $0.95
Full Price Lunch Meal Price (Middle/High Students): $2.00
Visitors (Adult/Child) Breakfast Meal Price: $3.00
Visitors (Adult/Child) Lunch Meal Price: $4.50
As a reminder, payments may be made to student accounts by sending cash or check to your child’s school, or by going to www.k12paymentcenter.com. Credit card payments are accepted at the district office located at 33 Middle School Rd., Summerville, GA 30747. Please note there is a fee for credit card processing.
