Chattooga County Extension Agent Rebecca Thomas will be our guest on the Newsmakers Interview Program coming up this (Wednesday) morning on AM 1180.  Ms. Thomas will be talking about the forming of an advisory board to help the “Service with a Smile” and downtown Summerville beautification and revitalization program that county 4H Students presented at the 2010 4H Youth Summit. 

The group was one of only three out of 159 counties to have their program selected for presentation.  Since that time they have received a small grant to start their project.  Thomas said that the City of Summerville and Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters have also committed to supporting the project.
