Gas prices continue their decline across the United States and here in Georgia, Chattooga County has some of the cheapest gas prices in the state.

At the end of last week, Chattooga County had a average of $3.69 per gallon of gas.  The cheapest gas was reported at the Great Way Food Mart and Murphy Gas.   Gas in neighboring Walker County continued to hover around $4 per gallon and in Floyd County the average gallon of gas was costing $4.04 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the national average price for a gallon of gas is $4.58 per gallon.
