Summerville Police served a warrant on a Bittings Avenue woman and found her to be in possession of drugs. According to a report released on Tuesday of this week, the incident happened on July 22nd. When officers arrived at the residence of thirty-five-year-old Clarissa Ann Parriss, she told officers that there was a juvenile present. The officers allowed Parriss to make arrangements for someone to come and get the juvenile. Officers asked Parriss if she had anything illegal that did not need to cross the guard line at the Chattooga County Jail. At first, the woman denied having any illegal substances, but then admitted she had drugs on her person. The woman retrieved suspected crystal methamphetamine and prescription drugs from her bra and handed it to police.
