The Ramblers came to Summerville for the Chattooga Indian’s home opener on Friday evening and the Indian’s young team were not able to overcome an early lead by LaFayette.

The Ramblers were able to have a convincing lead over the Indians with a 14-6 score after just the first quarter.  The Ramblers defense was insurmountable for the Indians and by half-time LaFayette lead the score 21-12.

By the third quarter, the Ramblers had put 28 points on the board to Chattooga’s 12 at the beginning of the final quarter.  The Ramblers ended the game with a final score of 42 to 12.

The Indians will be off next Friday and will come back on September 2nd for another home game against Temple.
