On Wednesday of last week, a woman called the Summerville Police Department to inform them that her vehicle had rolled into a neighbors’ block wall and had done damage to the wall. When officers arrived at the Ramey Street address, they spoke with Stephanie Toland who told them that her two-year-old child was inside the vehicle and had moved the gear shifter and the car had rolled back into the neighbor’s concrete-block wall across the street. Toland said that she was standing outside the vehicle when the incident happened. Ms. Toland told police that she wanted a report filed and would pay for the damage if it wasn’t covered by her insurance. Police also spoke with the neighbor about the situation.
