Today is the final day of the 2022 Chattooga County Agricultural Fair and everyone gets in for free.  Free Sunday gate admission is sponsored by the Town of Trion.  Gates will open at 2 PM this afternoon.

Fair goers will enjoy all of the great food vendors and of course the midway rides.  Arm bands for unlimited rides are $25 each.

This afternoon at 3 PM on the Smith Iron Works Stage, four Chattooga County veterans will receive a Quilt of Valor.  Then there will be gospel music throughout the evening from Kathy Worley, Vernon Greeson, Corey Curtis, The Longs and headlining will be gospel music entertainer Jason Crabb.  Crabb is a Kentucky native and has been the lead singer for The Crabb Family.  Crabb has had success on the Billboard charts and has received a Grammy and Dove awards.

Under the livestock pavilion today, the Jr. Beef Show will take place at 2 PM and the Market Hog Preview Show gets underway at 6 PM.

In the Chattooga County Farm Bureau Demonstration Kitchen, Master Gardeners will be giving a demonstration at 2:30 PM on herb sugars and salts.  Then, at 4PM Master Gardeners will be doing a demonstration on growing micro-greens.  At 5:30 PM, Chattooga County Beekeeper Sophia Price will give a demonstration on using bee products for hard lotion bars.
