Summerville Police arrested a man for driving under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop at McDonald’s in Summerville on Saturday.

According to a report released yesterday, police say that they put a “Be On The Lookout” out for a driver they had observed inside the city limits of Summerville who was driving in an erratic fashion.  A Chattooga County deputy spotted the vehicle in line at the drive-thru at McDonald’s and then noticed the driver cut out of the line and headed for the parking lot at Marvin’s.

Deputies and Summerville Police spoke with the driver, identified as Thomas Searcy of a 8th Street, Summerville address.  After several field sobriety tests were administered, Searcy was arrested and taken to the Chattooga County Jail on charges of driving under the influence of drugs.
