An Alabama man was charged with felony first-degree forgery on Thursday afternoon, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Jody Davis Reed, 25, of 17705 County Road 22, Centre, Ala., knowingly passed a counterfeit $100 bill at the Marathon convenience store on Gadsden Road in Cave Spring on Jan. 1.

He remained in the Floyd County Jail on Thursday night.
