
Between September 17-20, 2022, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host a variety of special programs to mark the 159th anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga. This will include a number of living history programs, ranger-guided tours and presentations, as well as in-depth battle hikes led by the park historian.
Events are scheduled for today, including ranger led tours that walk people through significant events that happened during the battle. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, bug spray, water, and wear comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes for walking/hiking.
Ranger-Guided Tours are a great way to explore the battlefield during the battle anniversary.
Also their are special Junior Ranger activities for young people to earn a unique Junior Ranger badge available during the battle anniversary.
