An automobile was reported stolen from a local tire alignment shop in Summerville on Tuesday of this week.

According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, Tony White with White’s Tire and Alignment called police to report the vehicle missing. Mr. White showed a responding officer a video of someone stealing the GMC Acadia from the shop at 5:50 AM on Tuesday morning.

The vehicle belonged to Jason Vaughn, according to the report.

Vaughn told police that he purchased the vehicle at Calhoun Auto Auction.

The investigation into the auto theft is ongoing, according to police.
