A forty-nine-year-old Rock Spring, Georgia woman has been charged in Hamilton County, Tennessee in connection with a pedestrian fatality that happened last week. Sarah Annette Barrett’s attorney made a statement to the media saying his client thought she had hit a deer. Barrett came forward to police after hearing news that someone had been struck and killed on Shallowford Road. The victim was identified as fifty-five-year-old Paul Thompson.
