Chattooga County Concerned Citizens, a group of individuals who are dissatisfied with Chattooga County’s new land use ordinance, will be holding a meeting this evening at the Chattooga County Civic Center in Summerville.
According to the group’s social media post:
This is an informational meeting about the new Land Development Ordinance in Chattooga County. We will do a brief overview of the ordinance and discuss some specific issues we have identified. We will also give everyone an opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the ordinance. This way you will be able to attend the official meeting of the Planning Committee on October 13th better informed and ready to ask specific questions and make recommendations to the Commissioner and Committee in regards to this ordinance. Feel free to share this with anyone you think may be impacted.
The meeting will be at 7 PM this evening. The Chattooga County Civic Center is located on Highway 48 across from Truist Bank.
