Last week a Subligna area resident reported the theft of her pocketbook to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.  According to a report released earlier this week, the complainant told a responding deputy that she woke up last Friday and realized that she had left her pocketbook in her vehicle.  When she went to check on the missing pocketbook, she found that it was missing from the vehicle. The complainant said that there was $500 in cash inside the purse and that she had no idea who might have stolen it from her vehicle.  The incident was turned over to an investigator.
