A Chattanooga man who was traveling back home from a visit in Chattooga County  was arrested earlier this week after he was stopped for no tag light and officers suspected that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

WQCH Radio in LaFayette reports that police stopped twenty-nine-year-old  Kelun T. Eubanks after they noticed that the tag light was not working on the vehicle he was driving.  Officers reported smelling burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and Eubanks had the odor of alcohol on his breath.

Eubanks told officers that he had visiting friends in Trion.

Eubanks was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Walker County Jail on Tuesday.
