Another nationally-known auto parts store is coming to Chattooga County.  O’Reilly Auto Parts has announced plans to build a new store at the former Hardee’s location at 10424 Commerce Street in Summerville.

O’Reilly currently operates stores in LaFayette, Rome, Calhoun and Fort Payne in surrounding counties.

The Missouri-based company has auto parts stores in 47 states in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.  O’Reilly Auto Parts was founded in 1957 and began with one store in Springfield, Missouri. There are currently 5,873 stores in 47 U.S. states and 27 stores in Mexico.

The Summerville City Council has approved a setback variance for the company to build the new auto parts store, saying there were no objections from adjacent landowners.
