A twenty-nine-year-old Alabama man was arrested this week after he was accused of cheating two Northwest Georgia homeowners out of work that was promised.   Authorities say that Kyle Handy of Rainbow City, Alabama was paid over $13,000 to do work that was never completed.

Floyd County Jail records indicate that Handy failed to provide any labor, materials or services for repairing swimming pools.  In one instance, Handy is accused of taking $7,710 and in another $6,170 for work that was never performed.

Handy is being charged with two counts of theft by deception and two counts of conversion of payments for real property improvements.
