A thirty-three-year-old Subligna man is accused of assaulting two women last Sunday.

Reports from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office say that Corey Duke Gregory was intoxicated when he got into an argument with one of the women who was attempting to help another woman who’s vehicle had broken down.  Gregory is accused of shoving one of the women’s head against the vehicle while a juvenile was inside the vehicle.  He is accused of shoving the other woman to the ground and breaking items inside a residence in a fit of rage.

Gregory was charged with simple battery and simple battery under the Family Violence Act.  The incident happened on Nugget Ridge Road.
