Rome Police are considering homicide charges against an unidentified woman in connection with a vehicle fatality that happened on Sunday morning.  Rome Police say that thirty-three-year-old Milton Omar Medina, formerly of Honduras, was in his van when he was forced off the road by a vehicle driven by his girlfriend.  Medina’s vehicle crashed into a tree and exploded, according to the Floyd County Coroner’s office.  Medina was pronounced dead at the scene.  His body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.  Rome Police say that they are working the case as a “potential homicide”.
