Summerville Main Street is planning a Victorian Christmas celebration the first weekend in December. There will be a Christmas Market on East Washington Street, with food, retail sales and crafts. The Christmas Market will be from 11 AM -5 PM. Then, on Sunday, December 4th from 12:30 PM – 4 PM, there will be a Live Nativity and Christmas Caroling in downtown Summerville along with contests and kids games. The City of Summerville Annual Christmas Parade Takes To The Streets Friday, December 2 Followed by Victorian Christmas
The City of Summerville is gearing up for the 2021 Christmas Parade, to be held this Friday, December 2, at 7:00 p.m. This year’s parade theme is “Winter Wonderland”.
Trophies will be awarded by the Summerville Recreation Department for the top 3 float entries and prize monies in the amount of $250.00 for 1st Place, $100.00 for 2nd Place, and $75.00 for 3rd Place will be awarded by Summerville Main Street.
The parade entry fee is $25.00. Parade entries are currently being accepted at the Summerville Recreation Department. To register as a participant or for additional information contact the Summerville Recreation Department at 706-859-0910.

Journey into the past as Summerville’s turn-of-the-century downtown ushers you into the spirit of Christmas long ago. Enjoy live street performers and narrations, caroling, a live Nativity by Son Rise Church and a Christmas Market full of lots of food and shopping treasures,
