A Summerville man was arrested after he was found driving a 1977 Coachman Leprechaun Gold RV on Lombardy Way in Rome on Sunday night. The driver failed to pull over in the vehicle and was eventually stopped by police.  Twenty-six-year-old Michael Amerson, Jr. of Summerville was arrested and charged with felony theft by receiving.  He was additionally charged with obstruction of police officers for refusing to stop when directed by police.  Amerson was being held at the Floyd County Jail on bail as of Monday of this week.
