A woman reported the theft of a pocketbook to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week.  According to a report from the sheriff’s office, the complainant came to the sheriff’s office to report the theft.  The complainant said she was shopping at Grocery Outlet in Summerville and had left her pocketbook inside her vehicle.  When she went to retrieve her pocketbook, it was missing from the car.  The complainant said that there was $80, a Victoria Secret wallet and her prescription drugs inside the pocketbook.  The complainant said that she had locked the vehicle. The incident was turned over to an investigator.
