
Chattooga County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a Maffet Street address in Trion after a Pit Bull attacked its owners and a neighbor’s dog.
When deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with the owners of the dog, they said that the dog had attacked them for no apparent reason. According to the report from the sheriff’s office, ” “we located the brown Pit Bull behind the house that was pacing around with blood on its mouth. We were able to keep the dog contained until animal control arrived”. Deputies could see bite marks on the owners and called for EMS.
While EMS was taking care of the owners, the deputies spoke with a neighbor who said that the Pit Bull had attacked his dog that was chained in his back yard.
The owners of the dog did not want a report filed about the incident, but the neighbor requested a report be made.
Chattooga County Animal Control took the dog away from the residence.
