A thirty-one-year-old Summerville woman was arrested at CVS in Summerville after police were called about someone smoking marijuana in the bathroom.

According to a report released on Thursday, CVS employees called police after a woman went in the public restroom and stayed inside for around forty minutes.  Employees told police that they could “smell pot” coming from the bathroom.  When officers arrived on the scene they gained access to the restroom and found Alyssa Marie Teague sitting in a stall with no clothes on from the waist down.  Teague initially denied smoking marijuana, but when a partially burnt joint was found on the floor, she finally told officers the “f****** half of a joint might be mine”.

Officers also found several Bic lighters that had not been paid for and the partially opened packaging they came in.

The woman was taken to jail and charged with shoplifting and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
